Trinity School of Nursing offers our Patient Care Technician Program to prepare interested individuals in their entry to the workforce. Through this program, our students can become advanced cross-trained nursing assistants or patient care technician.
A patient care technician is a valuable member of the healthcare team. We will help students learn about how to communicate effectively within the team that they are part of as well as deal with the legal and ethical issues that they face on a daily basis. Most importantly, our students will a gain deeper understanding of medical terms and learn how to use various equipment which is essential in the delivery of care to patients.
After completing this program, students can seek and gain employment in patient care settings such as hospitals, outpatient centers, geriatric centers, clinics and more.
